OREANDA-NEWS. December 22, 2009. GRASYS large-scale oxygen adsorption system is brought on stream at  JSC Vasilyevsky Mining and Processing Plant (Kokshetau, Kazakhstan). Oxygen produced by several GRASYS adsorption plants is used in the hydrometallurgical process of gold-bearing ore oxidation for recovery of high-grade gold-bearing concentrate at the gold recovery plant.

The combined capacity of the adsorption oxygen plants is 1,800 cubic meters of 90% oxygen per hour. GRASYS has undertaken delivery, installation supervision, engineering supervision and commissioning of the equipment.

In March 2008, GRASYS won the tender for supply of oxygen equipment. No small part in GRASYS being selected as the supplier played its profound market experience, focus on development and successful implementation of technically complex projects for gas separation equipment production.

GRASYS operating oxygen system is fairly simple and does not require constant operation control due to its complete automation.

GRASYS producers a wide range of adsorption oxygen systems: from the small-scale plants designed for metal cutting and welding through to the systems allowing to arrange in-house filling of oxygen cylinders under 150 atm.

The array of GRASYS plants applications is extremely broad, including autogenous oxygen production (apart from automated metal cutting); oxygen generators are also used in silicate, pulp and paper, food and pharmaceutical industries, in fish farming, waste water treatment and ozonating plants feedstock supply, solid waste incineration, medicine.
