OREANDA-NEWS. January 12, 2010. Moscow "Inzhtransstroy" road builder was announced winner in a bidding for contract for the construction of the first 18 km-stage of a new bypass road "Vladivostok-Nakhodka-port East", the Primorsky Territory Administration press service said. After 10 days the regional administration will sign a contract with the company to start construction of the first three kilometers route.

The total length of the new route Vladivostok - Nakhodka - Port East " is said to be more than 40 km. It will run bypassing Artem, Shkotovo, Smolyaninov, Romanovka and on to the village of Bolshoi Kamen.

The Vladivostok - Nakhodka - Port East road will be built of cement concrete to serve at least over 50 years. As of now the company has completed the design and survey works on the second 18-40 km part of the road, construction documentation to be passed through government expertise.
