OREANDA-NEWS. January 12, 2010. Russian Vice-premier Dmitrij Kozak accompanied with President of “SC Olympstroj” Taimuraz Bolloev, governor of Krasnodar territory Alexander Tkachyov and mayor of Sochi Anatolij Pahomov visited Olympic Park today. The main attention during a regular inspection of Olympic building sites was paid to the security system.

The special full structure of ensuring security was set up. Five check-points are able to fulfill an access of 1300 cars a day to building sites. It takes not more than 3 minutes to check one unit of transport at the present time. Vice-premier of “SC Olympstroy” Nikolaj Gryaznov explained that “nowadays only two check-points are working with full load; activity of other check-points is being expanded when it’s necessary for effective expenditure of means purposes”.

Dmitrij Kozak was a witness of access procedure of motor transport. The truck’s driver with help of a personal magnet card (for one-time or uncertain period) opens a lifting gate, then the car is inspected by employees of security enterprise with special technical means of examination, if’s necessary to examination, policemen will be attracted. In case of appearing suspicion in attempt to carriage to building sites of Olympic Park high explosive, explosive device, weapon, ammunition or other prohibited cargo for carriage, the transport is gone to check by a mobile inspection complex that represents a large X-ray apparatus on a large-tonnage truck base. Nikolaj Gryaznov assured that an emanation from this equipment is in several times less than from some medical apparatus. “However, efficiency of complex work is very high”, — he underlined. Russian Vice-premier was in an attendant position cabin of the mobile complex and got acquainted with its work.

During the inspection the procedure of access of employees and visitors to objects was also demonstrated. In conclusion Russian Vice-premier was told about visitation’s order of a cemetery of Old Belief commune that is located in a securing Olympic Park’s perimeter. The citizen, who would like to visit necropolis should present passport and at once gets a pass that is the magnet card. Then the travel of a visitor is controlled by employees of a security enterprise. "Thereby we provide both the protection of our object and the security of a person itself, — explained Nikolaj Gryaznov, — as Olympic Park is a one big construction“. From June to the beginning of December about 700 people visited the cemetery, 5 burials were made. Dmitrij Kozak walked through a turnstile, controllable by magnet cards with visitor’s personal information that is reflected on security’s monitors when it’s operated.

As a whole the security of Olympic Park is provided by 332 employees of “Olymp” and 48 policemen. “They’re all local citizens”, — Vice-premier of “SC Olympstroy” added.
