OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2010. The main works aimed at developing Shcherbinka township in southwestern Moscow are almost completed.

According to a press service of SU-155 group of companies, Shcherbinka is one of the last building areas undergoing an all-inclusive development in Moscow. SU-155 won a tender to develop the township in 2006. It is stipulated by the contract that the group of companies erect 420,000 square metres in neighbourhoods 2, 3 and 4 of Shcherbinka.

Besides the residential buildings, the builders of SU-155 have developed all the necessary infrastructure, including a kindergarten, a social security centre and parking facilities in neighbourhood 2 as well as four kindergartens and two schools in neighbourhoods 3 and 4. A clinic for children which is currently under construction in neighbourhood 2 is to be commissioned in the middle of 2010.

It was noted that the most part of the new-built blocks of flats in Shcherbinka (260,000 square metres) has been transferred into the ownership of the Russian Defense Department for providing the servicemen with accommodation.
