OREANDA-NEWS. January 26, 2010. Azerbaijan’s insurance company A-Qroup has summed up results of activity for the past year.

The Company says that last year it gathered AZN 7.228 million of insurance premiums.

“Major portion of our earnings for the reported period fell on the share of voluntary medical insurance. These premiums totaled AZN 6.3 million,” the Company informed. Over 2009 A-Qroup paid compensations for AZN 5.05 million.

“Our compensation payments were carried out mainly on medical insurance and volume of payments on it reached AZN 4.9 million,” A-Qroup says.

Currently the Company renders services on three compulsory and 14 voluntary insurance types. Its equity capital is AZN 1.55 million.
