OREANDA-NEWS. January 28, 2010. Ashgabat Eхpo Build 2009 International exhibition of construction and building materials industry of the Republic of Turkey has opened at the Exhibition Center in Ashgabat today. The specialized exhibition is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Meridyen International Exhibition Company. The participants of the representative forum that has become traditional will showcase their potential, expertise, advanced technologies and innovations during three days.

64 companies from different regions of Turkey greatly interested in developing fruitful cooperation with the state and private construction companies of Turkmenistan participate in the forum this year. This cooperation is deemed especially promising for the large-scale social, economic and cultural development programmes launched in Turkmenistan. Hundreds of industrial, social and housing infrastructure facilities are under construction in the Turkmen capital and throughout the country. The large-scale project on the creation of the seaside resort on the Caspian Coast – Avaza national tourism zone opens up the vast opportunities for collaboration.

Turkmenistan that is facing a construction boom is interested in attracting advanced technologies, innovations and know-how, the best international experience. The pavilions of the largest Exposition Centre in the region provide all construction companies with an opportunity to learn about the advanced practices as well as establish cooperation with Turkish partners.

The exposition includes a number of the thematic sections such as construction technologies, equipment and automotive vehicles, building materials, tools, sanitary, electrical, lighting equipment, etc. The exhibition will provide a clear picture of the progress of Turkey’s construction industry. This large-scale exposition will, undoubtedly, foster mutually advantageous cooperation between Turkmenistan and Turkey.

The exhibition will be opened till January 29. The participants will receive the diplomas and certificates.
