OREANDA-NEWS. February 01, 2010. SOGAZ Group’s United Insurance Center in St. Petersburg will move to the new modern office in the near future. Representative offices of the main Group’s companies (JSC SOGAZ, LLC IC SOGAZ-LIFE, JSC IC SOGAZ-MED, LLC IC SOGAZ-AGRO) will now be located in a separate building at: Letter A, 1 Cheboksarsky Pereulok. Vadim Yanov, Chairman of SOGAZ Management Board, announced this at the press briefing on Tuesday.

The building with the total area of 7.3 thousand sq. km is a historical monument (at the end of 18th century it was a building of the Main Court Hospital) located in the very heart of the city (in the so-called “Golden Triangle”), 100 meters from the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood. The interior space has been especially reconstructed for the new office opening ceremony at the expense of SOGAZ, and the building facade has been restored in accordance with its historic appearance.

According to Vadim Yanov, SOGAZ is currently proceeding with the registration of the title to this building. “We continue to increase the level of comfort of our offices and are allocating of substantial funds to this. To a great extent, it is not a matter of prestige for us, but rather a matter of respect to our customers. In the new office furnished with the latest equipment, we will have the opportunity to provide our services with the maximum efficiency to both retail and corporate customers from St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region”, said Vadim Yanov.

In addition, at the beginning of April SOGAZ plans to open its own international medical center (IMC SOGAZ) with the area of 3.5 thousand sq. m which will also be located in the center of the city, on Malaya Konushennaya Street.

The main purpose of the center is to satisfy the needs of SOGAZ customers living in St. Petersburg and North-Western Region, insured under voluntary health insurance programs for high-technology around-the-clock health care. IMC SOGAZ will provide more than 4 thousand health care services in 70 licensable areas, including around-the-clock emergency health care, emergency and scheduled surgery, around-the-clock inpatient care, critical care, rotational/telemedicine, restorative medicine, radiology, endoscopy, etc.

Today finishing works are almost compete and the required equipment has been purchased for the total amount of more than RUR 1 billion. It will allow to use a number of exclusive technologies in the medical center, such as endocavitary sonography, multifunctional monitoring, angiography, etc. As of today, total investment in the project amounts to RUR 1.8 billion.

Around 400 highly qualified specialists will work in the medical center. IMC SOGAZ will be able to receive up to 450 patients a day. It is expected that most patients will be SOGAZ customers and users of health care services with medium or high income.

Andrey Obrezan, head of the Department of Hospital Therapy of the Medical Department of St. Petersburg State University, was appointed Chief Physician of the medical center.
