OREANDA-NEWS. February 03, 2010. In accordance with Russia's Federal Tariff Service's order CenterTelecom OJSC changes its local telecommunications tariffs for individual and corporate customers from February 1, 2010, and its intra-zone telecommunications tariffs from January 31, 2010, in the territory of 17 regions of Russia's Central Federal District.

The tariffs based on subscriber payment system (including payment for provision of a permanent subscriber line) will increase 7.3% for individual subscribers. For the corporate customers the tariffs will grow by 6.6%. The tariffs based on time based payment system will grow an average 12% for individual and corporate customers. The tariffs based on combined payment system will be increased an average 11% for individual customers and 8.8% for corporate clients. At the same time the company decreases the number of minutes included into a basic volume of local telephone connections: from 375 to 350 minutes.

The tariffs including payment for provision of a permanent subscriber line (where time-based local billing is technically impossible) will be increased 9.6% for individual subscribers, and will grow by 6.6% for the corporate customers.

CenterTelecom Social and Weekend Tariff Plans' subscriber fees will not be changed. Only the Social Tariff Plan's payment for exceeding of basic volume of telephone connections will be increased: by 21% for Moscow region's subscribers and by 12.5% for remaining CenterTelecom's customers in Russia's Central Federal District. The Weekend Tariff Plan's per minute charge in working days will be equal to the Time Based Tariff's per minute charge.

At the same time CenterTelecom decreases its intra-zone telephone connections tariffs in the second tariff zone by 10% (from RUB2.9 to RUB2.6). The tariffs for provision of an access to the company's local telephone communication network are to be reduced by 11%.

The decrease of tariffs is to be put into effect from January 31, 2010 all over the territory where the company operates.
