OREANDA-NEWS. February 04, 2010. TEO LT, AB, the largest provider of integrated telecommunication, IT and TV services in Lithuania, will invite its business clients using TEO internet services to become environmentally-friendly and to refuse paper invoices.  Invoices with the electronic signature affixed and complying with all bookkeeping requirements can be received by the clients free of charge on the website Mano TEO (http://www.manoteo.lt).
 
Safe login to the self-service system will be guaranteed by a new feature introduced this January which enables to log in to Mano TEO via internet banking systems.
 
According to Head of TEO Chief Sales Officer Mr. Darius Gudaиiauskas, great majority of Lithuanian companies, including TEO, are completely ready for accepting and sending electronic invoices.  “We are keeping up with the features provided by the technologies, therefore we invite our clients also to take advantage of a modern, safe, environmentally-friendly and extremely convenient mode of invoice receipt”, said Mr. Gudaиiauskas.
 
Starting from March, clients of TEO Internet services or self-service website Mano TEO will be charged LTL 5 (excl. VAT) monthly rate for invoice receipt by post. Paper invoices for the clients who do not use Internet service will not be charged, but all clients will be invited to review their invoices on self-service website.
 
Clients can refuse paper invoices and choose their electronic delivery mode on the self-service website Mano TEO, while more information about them is available by business customers care phone 1816.
 
Electronic invoices on the website Mano TEO are sent to over half of TEO business clients and half of private customers.  According to TEO calculations, in case of refusal of paper invoices by all clients of the Company, over 100 t paper would be saved every year.
