OREANDA-NEWS. February 09, 2010. The authorized capital of Russian Agricultural Bank was increased by RUR 825 million by the Government of the Russian Federation represented by the Federal Agency on Federal Property Management, reported the press-centre of RusAg.

This is the first increase of RusAg’s capital in 2010. Previously the authorized capital was increased by RUR 45 billion in February 2009 and RUR 31.495 billion in August 2008. As a result RusAg’s authorized capital has reached RUR 107.05 billion.

These funds will be used to ensure resilient operations of Russian Agricultural Bank including lending to agribusiness and rural population in the framework of the State Program on Agribusiness Development 2008-2012, lending to agricultural commodity producers, personal household plots owners, farmers, agricultural consumer cooperatives, grain purchase and commodity interventions and for establishment of land mortgage lending system.
