OREANDA-NEWS. February 10, 2010. Kapital Bank, one of the Azerbaijan’s leading banks, has summarized results of activity for 2009.

The Bank says that 2009 became the year of great success for it.

For the past year our profit grew by 37% up to AZN 4.8 million. Bank’s earnings for 2009 reached record level of AZN 68.7 million,” it was reported.

In 2009, KB assets reached AZN 552.2 million, including loan portfolio of AZN 331.2 million. Bank’s liabilities were at the level of AZN 466.9 million, including populations’ deposits for AZN 76.3 million.

Bank’s ROA and ROE for 2009 made up 1.1% and 8.67% respectively.

Quantity of KB active plastic cards for the past year reached 2 million. The Bank is numbering 321 cash machines and 408 POS-terminals.

In 2009 KB, whose 97.5% of shares belong to Pasha Holding, became the country’s largest private bank on the level of assets.
