OREANDA-NEWS. February 12, 2010. Wimm-Bill-Dann is to invest around USD 10.5 million in 2010 to develop its Novosibirsk-based Siberian Milk subsidiar. In 2009, WBD invested roughly USD 3.8 million into the plant. Investments will be used to phase in a milk bottling production line and to diversify production.

We are generally upbeat on the company’s plans to step up investments in production capacity modernization as it should enable the company to strengthen its foothold on the promising Siberian market. According to our estimates, total investments in production modernization and expansion by the company may hit around USD 150 million for 2010, a gain of over 40% over 2009.
