OREANDA-NEWS. February 15, 2010. A delegation of the Ministry of Architecture and Construction of the Republic of Belarus led by Deputy Minister of Architecture and Construction Sergei Lastochkin is on a visit to Turkmenistan. The delegation consists of the specialists and engineers of the leading enterprises and institutions of the friendly country.

During the visit to the Turkmen capital the members of the Belarusian delegation held the working meetings at the Government, the sectoral ministries and departments including the Ministry of Railway, the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Construction Materials Industry, the Ministry of Oil and Gas Industry and Mineral Resources and the Ashgabat Khyakimlik.

During the meetings the partners noted that a qualitatively new level of the Turkmen-Belarusian dialogue became a result of the summit between Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Aleksander Lukashenko talks during the Turkmen leader’s official visit to Belarus this January. The top level talks resulted in signing the bilateral documents aimed at enhancing effective partnership in a wide range of fields including chemical industry, industrial and civil construction, energy, transportation, communications and telecommunications sectors. The meetings in Ashgabat will specifying the ways of collaboration of the Belarusian construction and design organisations on construction and complex modernization of a number of the enterprise sin the Turkmen capital and in the regions of Turkmenistan.

The visit of the Belarusian delegation will last till February 16.
