OREANDA-NEWS. February 15, 2010. In 2009 JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” transferred about 33 mln. rubles for the implementation of social projects.

12 mln. rubles were transferred to target funds earmarked for the social support of the personnel.  Main part of these funds (6.3 mln. Rubles) was used for reimbursement of expenses for medical care (including resort treatment) and vacations of the employees. Over 2.1 mln. Rubles were transferred for arrangement of summer vacation and for purchase of New Year presents for the children of port workers.

6.9 mln. rubles were transferred for financial assistance to port employees, including single mothers and families with many children.

5.6 mln. rubles were transferred for financial assistance to the former employees of the company – to the veterans of the port.

The company transferred 4.2 mln. rubles to pay bonuses for public holidays and employees’ anniversaries.

Within the period of 21 years JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” has rendered assistance to orphanage No.10 of Kirovskiy district. Over 640 thousand rubles were transferred for capital renovation of the building and equipment of the premises, purchase of the furniture and New Year presents for the orphanage children.

Besides, in July of 2009 г. the group of companies “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” was the partner of Saint-Petersburg part of International Regatta of Sailing Vessels "THE TALL SHIPS RACES 2009. Over 100 sailing vessels and over 2000 young sailors (including 300 sailors from Saint-Petersburg) participated in the regatta.

In order to smooth the adjustment process and quicken the training of new employees JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” approved the regulations “On guardianship”. According to these regulations experienced employees who take under their patronage young workers receive additional payment.

 The existing collective labour agreements envisage rendering of various benefits, compensations and financial assistance for port personnel.
