OREANDA-NEWS. March 05, 2010. IDGC of North-West managers and directors of the company’s branches will meet in Polyarnye Zori (the Murmansk Region).

Participants of the meeting will sum up the tariff campaign 2010, discuss the current year’s business plan, results and tasks in respect of technological connection to electric networks.

The questions to be discussed include work on transition to regulation according to the RAB method. Effective from January 2010 a new tariff formation system has been implemented by a branch of IDGC of North-West - Novgorodenergo.

Another two branches - Vologdaenergo and Pskovenergo are expected to implement the RAB effective from 1 July 2010; and the other four branches of the company will do it effective from 1 January 2011.

A growth in energy selling companies' debts and underpay for electric power transmission services have become a problem interfering with normal functioning and development of the regional electric systems. The Vologda and Arkhangelsk Regions, and the Republic of Kareliya experience the most notable problems in this direction. In this connection on behalf of JSC "IDGC Holding", conclusion of "direct" contracts with consumers is carried out actively. This theme is also placed for consideration to the IDGC of North-West and branches' management.

The managers of the North-West distribution grid complex will visit reconstructed substation PS-69 - the largest investment project of Kolenergo branch in 2009. Visiting the Kola Nuclear Power Station and Niva HPS is also planned.
