The number of flights in Vilnius is increasing faster than the number of served passengers. It means that there are enough of the flights; however, the market is still not prepared to accept supply of all airlines at the airport. To achieve a rise of the passenger flow, a contribution of participants of the tourism market is essential. Vilnius is easily accessible; however, aircrafts are not full", the General Manager of the VIA, Tomas Vaisvila, says.

In February, the most popular directions also changed; the most popular direction became Copenhagen, outrunning Riga.  Other popular destinations remain Prague, Dublin, and London.
