OREANDA-NEWS. March 9, 2010. On February 23-27, 2010 Plovdiv hosted "Agra 2010" agricultural exhibition. "Lenexpo" representatives visited the event on the invitation from Bulgarian organizers.

Natalya Golubeva, "Agrorus" exhibition director, toldll about the trip results.

- Agricultural exhibition in Plovdiv demonstrated equipment, machines, seeds and domestic animals. It was mostly attended by the farmers and land renters. This exhibition differs from "Agrorus" in many ways: it is a 100% business project, they do not sell their exhibits and there is no fair.

In 2009 "Agra" had a representing stand at "Agrorus" in "Lenexpo". And this year we have paid a return visit to Plovdiv. Our stand presented information about "Lenexpo" exhibition complex and "Agrorus" trade fair. We organized project presentation and conducted some negotiations.

We have decided with "Agra" organizers to exchange exhibition stands, which will be come larger. Specialists from both sides will make exchange visits to the exhibitions. If we manage to bring Russian some participants there will be a special business delegation to "Agra".

Our Bulgarian partners became interested in the beverage section at  "Agrorus -2010", which is planned to be organized as a festival. "Lenexpo" top-managers from agro-industrial department have already conducted a series of preliminary negotiations with vine-makers from Krasnodar and Hungary. Bulgarian representatives may also participate in "Beverage industry" festival and add new items to the list of demonstrated products.

Unfortunately, we face more problems than our Bulgarian colleagues when attracting foreign companies. Despite "Agra" European participants our guests have to deal with visa and customs problems. But we do our best to help them overcome these difficulties.
