OREANDA-NEWS. March 11, 2010. Russia’s perfume and cosmetics chain Rive Gauche plans to open no less than 15 stores in Moscow and roughly the same number in the Russian regions over 2010.

The company vice-president, Korin Jack, told journalists on March 3 that new stores would be open in the regions of Russia if profitable retail premises were found there.

Rive Gauche now numbers 115 stores, including 44 in Saint Petersburg, 9 in Moscow (one more is to open this week) and also in such Russian towns as Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Ryazan, Samara, Saratov, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Sochi, Tomsk and some others.

According to Ms Jack, the retail chain opened 15 new stores and increased its sales by 30 per cent in roubles last year.
