OREANDA-NEWS. March 11, 2010. In January 2010, the export of enterprises affiliated with the Bellegprom concern made up USD 34.3 million, up 18.2% over the same period in 2009.

The enterprises exported to 29 countries worldwide, with Russia remaining the major customer. In January 2010, the exports to Russia reached USD 27.9 million, up 22.2% over the same period a year before. The supplies to Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia and Kazakshtan increased up to 1.5 times.

Bellegprom has recently been busy expanding its assortment meant for export. In 2009, new products of the concern were shipped to Austria, Serbia, France, Estonia and Turkmenistan.

In late 2009, the companies affiliated with the concern delivered the trial consignment of goods to Thailand and Venezuela. Linen fabric was shipped to Thailand while Venezuela received samples of many light industry products. In 2009, the company penetrated the markets of South Africa, Iran, North Korea, Japan, Switzerland, and Portugal.

The Bellegprom concern is a multi-industry complex which incorporates companies producing textile, knitted ware, tannery, footwear, fur and small ware. As of 1 January 2010, 76 companies of the concern certified their products for compliance with ISO 9000. These companies produce 99% of the total products of the concern. Bellegprom employs around 80,000 people.
