OREANDA-NEWS. March 17, 2010. Belarus’ fruit and vegetable juice imports increased to 4.2% in January 2010, to 1,882 tonnes worth USD 2.523 million, up to 1.3% on the year in monetary terms, told the Statistics Committee.

Russian juice imports went down to 8.4% on the year up to 716.2 tonnes, which cost USD 821,100, an increase of 5.4%.

Imports from Ukraine rose 29.3% in January to 360.4 tonnes worth USD 303,100, a rise by 7%, and from Azerbaijan reached 29.5 tonnes worth USD 62,200.

The main non-CIS suppliers were Israel with 500.8 tonnes, up 12%, worth USD 866,200, down 2.6%, and Brazil with 67.2 tonnes to the amount of USD 128,000.
