OREANDA-NEWS. March 19, 2010. A study has been made of co-operation between representatives of small and medium-sized business and banks on the basis of the results for Q4 of 2009. Entrepreneurs from Russia’s 13 biggest cities took part in the survey. During the study, the experts determined, in particular, the criteria by which banks are chosen for co-operation and the degree of satisfaction with the quality of the banking products and the level of service provided.

The survey put Bank of Moscow among the Top-5 most popular Russian banks (as the "main" bank) with small and medium-sized companies. At the same time, in terms of overall satisfaction with the co-operation, Bank of Moscow came in first with a 97% indicator.

"The Bank of Moscow has been implementing a programme for providing credit to small businesses since 2005. The most popular products are credits for business development and, for regional businessmen - micro-financing. With respect to all types of credit product, we are prepared to offer competitive terms", noted Irina Nikitenko, Vice-President of the Bank of Moscow.

In 2009, the Bank of Moscow raised with the Russian Development Bank credits in the amount of 2.3 billion roubles for supporting small and medium-sized business. The Bank of Moscow is thus expanding the opportunities for small businessmen in the Russian regions and making financial resources more easily available to them. Credit resources are offered to entrepreneurs in 49 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, the financing being provided through Bank of Moscow branches.
