OREANDA-NEWS. March 19, 2010. The Bank of Moscow has decided to cut its charges for remitting payments for housing and utility services at the Bank’s cash desks from 3% to 0.5% of the payment sum.

Housing and utility payments made through ATMs and the Bank of Moscow’s Internet banking system will, as before, be remitted free of charge.

"The Bank’s clients will be able to choose the amount of commission for themselves, depending on the payment method", commented Andrey Lapko, Vice-President of the Bank of Moscow. "If the client pays through a teller, there will be a 0.5% charge. At the same time, there is a real opportunity to save money and make the payment for housing and utility service by remote service channels - ATMs or Internet banking".
