Oleg Kuzmin, Director for Corporate Affairs at Interpipe, commented:

“We are delighted and greatly enthused by the decision to host the 17th International Wheelset Congress in Ukraine with Interpipe as event organizers. This event is a platform for bringing together railway leaders from all over the world such as rail operators, leading companies, equipment builders, technicians and businessmen. We sincerely believe that the choice of Ukraine is the right one and are honoured by the decision to host the event in Ukraine. Ukraine is a country that has been hugely influenced by its railways, which total 23,350 kilometres (14,510 miles). The country is currently at the centre of a large investment programme aimed at modernising the country’s railway infrastructure. Ukraine is also home base of KLW – one of the world’s largest exporters of railway wheels.
