OREANDA-NEWS. March 23, 2010. Executives of RusHydro OJSC paid a working visit to Power Machines’ facilities to inspect the progress on execution of contractual obligations regarding the manufacture of equipment to be installed at Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP and other hydroelectric power plants operated by RusHydro.

During the visit, delegation of RusHydro’s representatives headed by Mikhail Mantrov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, visited Power Machines’ Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod to inspect the process of manufacturing hydraulic power equipment for Russia’s hydroelectric power plants, including spare parts for repair operations at Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP’s hydraulic units Nos. 3 and 4, as well as the power equipment for Boguchanskaya HPP and Zagorskaya Pumped Storage Power Plant-2.

Furthermore, RusHydro’s and Power Machines’ delegations discussed issues on implementation of contractual undertakings regarding the procurement of new equipment for hydraulic units of Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP, installation arrangements and design concept for the hydroplant’s APCS.

Production processes at Power Machines were highly estimated by executives of RusHydro company, who highlighted the readiness of St. Petersburg power engineering concern to timely and fully meet all of its current obligations.

At the moment, Power Machines company is extensively engaged in a number of RusHydro’s major projects, including repair operations at Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP after the accident, manufacture and procurement of nine hydraulic units for Boguchanskaya HPP, modernisation of four hydraulic units at Volzhskaya HPP, along with manufacture and procurement of two turbine pumps and two hydrogenerators for Zagorskaya PSPP-2.
