OREANDA-NEWS. March 24, 2010. Ceremonial events devoted to the tenth anniversary of OAO Bratskecogaz, the first gas-producing enterprise in the Irkutsk Region, took place in Bratsk. ITERA Oil and Gas Company, LLC, owns a 79% stake in the Company, while 21% of its shares belong to Administration of Bratsk. The Company holds a license to develop Bratsk gas and condensate field (GCF). Its reserves include 10.8 billion cu m of gas, 820 thousand tons of condensate and 29.8 million cu m of helium.

The field is being developed within the framework of the General Gas Supply and Gas Provision Scheme for the Irkutsk Region. The start-up complex of Bratsk GCF was commissioned in September of 2009. The gas from the field is pumped through external transportation pipeline of Gazprom to heat-generating facilities. They supply heat to populated localities and industrial enterprises of the Region.

The Project is being implemented in close cooperation with Administration of Bratsk, Gazprom and ITERA Oil and Gas Company, LLC. It is an example of business cooperation among regional authorities, a state corporation and a private company.
