OREANDA-NEWS. March 31, 2010. The cost of a mortgage is returning to its previous – pre-crisis – level, which means that more and more people will start borrowing and the demand for new housing will grow. In addition,  TNK-BP is reviving its corporate mortgage program in our city – an event that drew the following comment from Nizhnevartovsk Mayor Boris Khokhryakov at a regular meeting with journalists today:

“It has already been decided that several dozen new apartments are to be built for oil workers with mortgages. This will definitely affect the state of the construction industry, because the builders need orders for several dozen apartments. And as mortgages become more widely available, from regional councils to government departments, things can only get better. This can only be a plus and an additional stimulus.”
