OREANDA-NEWS. April 21, 2010. The cost of the most popular brands of gasoline Ai-95 grew by 0.5 leis - from 13,9 up to 14,4 leis per liter, diesel oil – by 0,4 lei - from 12,1 up to 12,5 leis per liter. As the representatives of the oil-importing companies note, the price increase is due to the quotations of oil at the world markets and the rising costs of the petroleum products at PLATT'S market.

The price change was also affected by the dynamics of the exchange rate of the Moldovan leu. The current rise in prices for oil products is the fourth since the beginning of 2010. Since the beginning of the year the price of gasoline in the retail trade grew by 21%, diesel fuel - by 18%. As InfoMarket agency has reported before, on January 4, the prices grew by an average 7%.

The prices of gasoline Ai-95 increased by 0.8 leis (6,7%) - from 11,9 up to 12,7 leis per liter, diesel fuel - by 0.8 leis (7,5%) - from 10,6 up to 11, 4 leis per liter. On February 10, the prices grew by about 8%: gasoline price-by 1 leu - from 12.65 up to 13.65 leis (Ai-95), diesel fuel - by 0.8 leis - from 11.35 up to 12.15 leis. On March 22, the price of gasoline increased by 0,25 leis (2%)- up to 13.9 leis per liter, while the cost of the diesel fuel remained the same.
