OREANDA-NEWS. April 29, 2010. AQS informs that the book of national assessment standards is distributed not only among the appraisers, but also among other potential consumers.

“In particular, the book is given out to banks, insurance and audit companies that encounter difficulties in their activities with necessity to carry out various kinds of assessment,” AQC reported.

The Society conducted the presentation of the standards endorsed by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology & Patents.

Among the passed standards are ethical code of appraiser, standards of immovable and movable property, loans, business, etc. All they conform to international financial reporting standards (IFRS).

The Society also plans to hold familiarizing seminars on new standards for practicing appraisers.
