OREANDA-NEWS. May 19, 2010. Branch of IDGC of the North-West “Vologdaenergo” began the implementation of the investment program by the reconstruction of 35/6 kv substation “Pakhomovskaya” in Vytegorsky district (Vologda region). The sum of expenses of the grid company for the project implementation will amount to RUR 48 million.

In the reconstruction course the works by construction of the new fencing, system of oil receivers and oil collectors and also the works by change of the existing power transformers are planned to be made at the power facility. In total 2 power transformers will be changed at 35/6 kv substation “Pakhomovskaya”.

The investment project also stipulates the reconstruction of 35 kv outdoor switchgear (OSG), the modernization of relay protection (Relay protection and emergency controls), the automated information and measuring energy metering system (AIMEMS) and the automated systems of technological management (ASTM).
35/6 kv substation “Pakhomovskaya” was put into operation in 1952. As of today the amortization of equipment of the power facility amounts to 100%. It confirms one more time a necessity and importance of holding the reconstruction.
