OREANDA-NEWS. May 24, 2010. Two digital projectors from the Italian company Cinemeccanica, with Dolby 3D, will be installed in the largest premier hall with a capacity of 479 seats, at the Cinema Park Theatre in the Grand Canyon Shopping Centre. The new equipment will be installed in time for the premier of Shrek Forever After.

This will be the third hall at the theatre to be fitted with 3D technology, and the first to have two digital projectors. It’s no secret that this technology is used by the IMAX Corporation. Two projectors in big halls ensures the highest possibly picture quality.

From May 22, Shrek Forever After will be screening in hall number 7 with the highest possible image quality and immaculate brightness. With a screen 20.5 by 8.7 meters, the St. Petersburg’ movie theatre is virtually the same as an IMAX hall.
