OREANDA-NEWS. May 25, 2010. A new road bridge over the Moscow Canal is due to open to traffic in northwestern Moscow in early September 2010.

“At the same time we will start the reconstruction of the old bridge scheduled to be completed in March 2011,” Vladimir Resin, first deputy mayor of Moscow, told journalists.

The official reminded that the work was being done within the implementation of the Bolshaya Leningradka project.

When the reconstruction is completed, the road bridge will have three lanes each way.
