OREANDA-NEWS. May 25, 2010. The Nineteenth Annual Meeting of the EBRD Board of Governors titled "Building Sustainable Growth" took place in Zagreb (Croatia) on 14-15 May.

The Meeting also hosted a business forum on post-crisis recovery of the global and national economies.

The forum served as a platform for politicians and businessmen from different countries (not only the EBRD area) to discuss the ongoing changes in politics, economy and social life. In particular, the delegates talked about economy recovery outlooks after the crisis and new investment opportunities, energy security and environmental projects, actions taken by politicians and international financial organizations to achieve a stable and sustainable economic recovery as well as many other issues.

SCM was represented at the Business Forum by Director of International and Investor Relations, Jock Mendoza-Wilson, who commented on SCM's involvement in the Forum: "Today, when the global economy is recovering, such meetings are especially important. They allow to understand the economic and political outlooks of the country and thus assess the business development outlooks and identify the main directions of movement".
