OREANDA-NEWS. May 27, 2010. According to head of "Rosatom", in spite of that the year was a crisis one, state corporation "coped with all tasks". In particular, indices of SC "Rosatom" were exceeded for 112% in average. Profit of the state corporation in 2009 is by 20% more than in the previous year, and stock of orders increased by 12%. Moreover, in the previous year "Rosatom" managed to reduce fixed charges by 17%. "It is more than 30 bln. of saved rubles", — emphasized S. Kirienko. Labor productivity increase values were exceeded almost two times. In the previous year the growth made 21.7%, and in this year it should make 23%. "One more important indicator is provision with raw stuff", — continued head of "Rosatom". According to him, increase of uranium production on results of the previous year made 25%, and amount of mining facilities grew more than twice. In the current year uranium production volume should grow minimum by more 11%. "It is in addition to those 25% which were in the previous year", — explained S.Kirienko.

Export orders stock should be increased minimum by 10%. "Now we issue the challenge of not just gain profit by any means, we need exactly investment profit, we need funds to increase amount of investments", — emphasized head of "Rosatom". At the same time, he acknowledged that the state corporation should "learn to proceed independently, reducing share of state support and increasing share of its own funds". Answering question of Prime minister of the RF about relations with Kazakhstan, S. Kirienko reported that they "are built in accordance with integrated program". "Quite large surplus of assets is provided just due to Kazakhstan partners", — noted head of "Rosatom".

However, according to him, cooperation with Kazakhstan is not limited with just uranium mining. "We also discuss establishment of joint venture on trade at third countries markets", — reported S. Kirienko, having added that project of joint uranium enrichment enterprise with Kazakhstan is already being executed in the Russian territory. "In our primary plans was construction of plant from the very beginning in the territory of the RF, but nowadays the market situation is such that it is not very expedient to build a new plant, and we, meeting wishes of our Kazakh partners, agreed to give them opportunity to get share at a functioning plant", — reported S. Kirienko. According to him, respective documents are already signed.
