OREANDA-NEWS. June 03, 2010. In accordance with Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) Analytical Department’s calculations, Respublika Invest returned its leadership (between January and March; ceased in April) among brokers in the government securities market (excluding repo operations market) in May 2010.

BSE informs that in May Respublika Invest headed the ranking of brokers due to brokerage services rendered to two clients in the amount of AZN 15,378,687.68.

The second leading broker was Caspian Financial with brokerage services to the sum of AZN 9,774,864.46 rendered to one client. The third place is occupied by Brokdil-Az with services for AZN 8,521,649.38.

In May, the level of amount, claiming to be leading in the ranking of brokers, reduced as compared to March 2010. So, in April, the leading sum of brokerage services provided totaled AZN 20,946,482.32.

In May, the number of brokers in this segment of the market remained unchanged - seven organizations.

In 2009, 12 brokerage companies carried out transactions on this segment of the market at the BSE’s trading floor. Last year, UniCapital headed ranking of brokers with brokerage services of AZN 308,936,779.7. The second leading broker was Brokdil-Az, with brokerage services of AZN 151,035,214.8 AZN, being AZN 157,901,564.9 less than the leader’s indicator. Standard Capital with services for AZN 146,063,271.6 held the third place in ranking of brokers.

In 2008, 11 brokerage companies carried out transactions on this segment of the market at the BSE’s trading floor. In 2008, Standard Capital LLC headed ranking of brokers with brokerage services of AZN 875,713,916.70. The second leading broker was UniBank with brokerage services of AZN 362,186,468.00 being AZN 513,527,448.70 less than the indicator of Standard Capital. Respublika Invest held the third place in ranking of brokers with AZN 337,107,962.90.
