OREANDA-NEWS. June 11, 2010. FESCO is planning to use JTSL service weekly. In this way, cargo owners will be able to ship containers from Japan every week and not twice a month as it was earlier.

In June the new improved service will begin operations from Ports of Japan to Ports of the Far East of Russia. Japan Trans Siberian Line (hereafter JTSL) was established in 1972. JTSL is a joint project of FESCO and Japanese Corporation Mitsui O.S.K. Lines. The Line connects Japanese ports of Toyamashinko, Moji, Kobe, Nagoya, Yokohama with the Far Eastern Ports of Vostochny and Vladivostok. Now it is a unique direct service between ports of Russia and Japan.

As Dmitry Maslov noticed – Managing Director of FESCO Lines Vladivostok, LLC, — the cooperation with Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Company is the longest in contrast with other foreign companies. Over the years, this cooperation has been growing strong, and the service is improving.

"With reference of marked positive trends in economy, increase in turnover between Japan and Russia, moreover both import and export, we decided to ship containers on the given direction every week" — Lyudmila Ilienok, The Director of Japanese Line of FESCO Lines Vladivostok, LLC, commented. It will allow to our present and future customers to plan the work more effectively.

In addition, current FESCO services will allow to deliver cargoes from the ports of Vostochny and Vladivostok on different routes: by rail up to settlements of Russia, CIS and Europe and by coasting lines up to Ports of Far East — Korsakov, Magadan and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Optimal connection of FESCO services enable consignors to reduce delivery time significantly, optimize the document flow and cut down expenses.
