OREANDA-NEWS. June 15, 2010. Freight One’s haulage increased by 40% In January-May 2010 over the same period of last year to 116.2 million tons.

This figure includes 38.0 million tons of coal (+44.4%), 31.8 million tons of oil freight (+21.7%), 10.0 million tons of ore (+46.2%), 7.5 million tons of ferrous metals (+167.1%), 3.7 million tons of timber (+23.1%), 5.6 million tons of construction materials (-15.5%), 2.7 million tons of chemical and mineral fertilizers (+28.8%) and 4.8 million tons of cement (+44.6%).

The company’s haulage in May increased by 5.3% over April. The fastest-growing segments were ore (+22.2%) and cement (+26.5%).

Freight One’s share in the total volume of freight traffic on the Russian Railways network was 21.6% during the first five months of 2010 (+4.0 PP compared with the same period of the last year).
