All these, undoubtedly, is reached thanks to active work with the personnel. We asked to tell in details about the work with personnel the Head of Bank Rating Department of Agrobank's Main Personnel Department Gulchehra Karimova.

- What are the basic directions of staff policy of Agrobank?
- First of all, I must note that work with the personnel is not only reception-dismissal and statistics. This is solution of a complex of issues that, finally, lead to effective work of the bank as a whole.

Agrobank staff policy along with credit or investment policy is one of the major components of the bank's operation and includes system of evaluation of work of each employee, support of goal-seeking people, motivation on results of their activity.

Also, serious aspect of strategy of work is formation of the managerial personnel from own experts, that is planning of career of employees, evaluation of their activity, rotation, advancement.

Important place in Agrobank staff policy belongs to maintaining balance between young and skilled workers. We pay great attention to work with youth, tutorship is very developed in the bank. Now bank's system covers 8,913 employees, 4,000 of them are young experts aged under 30.

I will note that the bank pays special attention to development of corporate spirit and culture, increase of motivation of employees, especially in respect of self-expression and self-realization.

- By what criteria the future employees are selected?

- First, higher economic education on such specialties as banking, accounting and audit, finance, taxes and taxation. We welcome knowledge of computer technologies and foreign languages. Besides, there should be adherence to corporate values of the bank.

We carry out selection of personnel by the adjusted partner relations with leading higher institutions of the country, such as the Tashkent State Economic University, Finance Institute, etc.

Thus, we signed a contract with Tashkent Finance Institute in 2008 on target professional training for the system of Agrobank. According to this agreement, 82 people are studying for the second higher education.

When hiring we give priority to those young experts who passed practice in a bank. For example, if we employ 10 people, usually 9 of them are our probationers who have proved from the best side.

- What is done in the field of professional training of your employees?

- Training and improvement of professional skills envisage constant training of the bank's personnel at all levels, either within the bank, or in special educational centers or higher educational institutions.

Improvement of professional skills of the staff is caused by requirements and conjuncture of the banking market, growing competition and high level of scientific and technical progress of banking.

Agrobank has a highly developed he international cooperation in the field of improvement of professional skills of its staff. In particular, annually 20 people go abroad for training. As the bank has correspondent relations with such leading international banks as Dresdner Bank, Deutsche Bank and others, our employees go there for training.

Also during the last two years three-month trainings in the Singapore Institute of Management was organized for employees of Agrobank. Besides, specialists of the bank actively participate in foreign seminars and forums.

Moreover, Agrobank professional training passes in Banking-Financial Academy, Academy under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Higher Business School. In particular, 15 people were enrolled to the Banking-Financial Academy this year, and 27 – last year.

It should be noted that our bank has a lot of young men who on the basis of competition conduct scientific activity. And we in turn create all necessary conditions for this and carry out material support.

Undoubtedly, the staff of Agrobank consists of highly skilled experts, which are constantly improved for the sake of the clients. Thanks to it the range of the bank's services considerably extends and their quality raises, new modern bank products are introduced.
