OREANDA-NEWS. June 21, 2010. Gazprombank and Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System (FGC UES) concluded an agreement on opening of a revolving credit line of RUR 15 bln for a term of 3 years and a general agreement on opening of bank accounts.

The agreements were signed based on results of an open auction for the right to conclude contracts for comprehensive services including opening of a revolving credit line, bank accounts (in RUR) and their support using the system of electronic document exchange.

FGC UES was established on June 25th, 2002, in accordance with the Program of electric power system reforming, as a monopoly operator to control the United National Electrical Grid for its maintenance and development. FGC UES operational objects with the total area of 13.6 million square km are located in 73 regions of Russia. The company ensures functioning of 118 000 km of electricity transmission lines and 758 substations with a total installed transformer capacity of 286 000 MWA, with voltage ranging from 35 to 1150 kV.
