OREANDA-NEWS. June 21, 2010. 56 transactions is the result of the auction held at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

The businessmen from the United Kingdom, Iran, Tajikistan, the Virgin Islands and the British territory bought liquefied gas, gasoline A-92, hydrotreated diesel fuel, low-sulfur heating oil, substandard polypropylene including turkmenaglomerat and turkmensfera produced at the Turkmenbashi oil refinery. Stove gasoline, M-100 fuel oil and diesel oil produced at the Seydi oil refinery were the choice of the buyers from the UAE and Afghanistan. Carbon black grade A (produced by the Turkmenhimiya State Concern) was the choice of the businessmen from the UAE.

Also, the transactions in the foreign currency were concluded for ginned cotton, washed saraja and karakul wool, cotton yarn, treated cotton waste, one-coloured and jacquard towels, cotton lint, jeans gauntlets. The buyer-countries: Russia, Switzerland, Belgium, Turkey, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Kazakhstan, Liechtenstein. Sweet products including caramel and biscuits were bought by the businessmen from the United Arab Emirates. The transactions concluded in the foreign currency totalled over USD 129.407 million.

The transactions in deposit manats were concluded for agricultural products for the most part. The businessmen from Russia, the United Kingdom, UAE, Turkey, India, Iran, Hong Kong, Belize, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan bought cottonseed oil, cotton cake, goat wool, wet blue semi-products. The buyers from Azerbaijan, Belize and Kyrgyzstan bought gray terrycloth and wadding. The transactions totalled over 29.21 million manats.

The Turkmen businessmen bought polypropylene produced at the Turkmenbashi oil refinery to the sum of over 44,000 manats.
