OREANDA-NEWS. July 05, 2010. Dixy Group – one of the leading food retailers in the Russian Federation - has announced revenue growth of 14.6% in Russian rubles (28.5% in USD) for the first five months of 2010 over the same period last year.1,2.

Dixy Group’s total revenue for the first five months of 2010 amounted to RUR 25,691 million, representing a 14.6% increase over RUR 22,422 million for the first five months of 2009.3 In USD terms revenue increased by 28.5% to 860.7 million, compared to USD 669.8 million for the first five months of 2009.

Retail revenue from Dixy for the first five months of 2010 amounted to RUR 21,690 million (USD 726.7 million), which represents a 15.1% growth in RUR (29.1% in USD) over the same period of 2009 result.

Retail revenue from Megamart for the first five months of 2010 amounted to RUR 2,865 million (USD 96.0 million), which represents a 16.8% growth in RUR (31.0% in USD) over the same period of 2009 result.

Retail revenue from Minimart for the first five months of 2010 amounted to RUR 874 million (USD 29.3 million), which represents an 8.7% growth in RUR (21.9% in USD) over the same period of 2009 result.

Revenue from other activities, such as marketing revenue, sublease income and wholesale revenue amounted to RUR 262 million (USD 8.8 million).
