OREANDA-NEWS. July 07, 2010. On October 29 Transaero Airlines will inaugurate regular flight from Moscow to New York. Initially, the service will be offered four times a week according to following schedule (local time):

Flight UN1111 – Departure from Domodedovo International Airport in Moscow on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:45 am and arrival at JFK Airport in New York at 12:15 pm. Return flight UN2222 will depart from New York at 2:00 pm and arrive in Moscow at 6:50 am the following day.

Flight UN3333 – Departure from Domodedovo International Airport in Moscow on Fridays and Sundays at 6:00 pm and arrival at JFK in New-York at 7:30 pm. Return flight UN4444 will depart from New York at 9:15 pm and arrive in Moscow at 2:05 pm the following day.

Flights to and from New York will be operated with Boeing 747-400 aircraft, a modern high-speed jetliner seating up to 352 passengers in three class configurations including Business Class, Premium Economy Class and Economy Class.

Passengers of Business class on the MoscowNew York route are invited to take advantage of Transaero’s separate cabin with just 11 extra wide and comfortable seats easily transforming into a comfortable lie-flat bed. Business Class passengers are also provided with a wide choice of drinks and dishes.

On flights from Moscow to New York Transaero will accommodate up to 56 passengers in Premium Economy class with seats having a 130 cm (52 inches) pitch, giving passengers more personal space. The choice of drinks and dishes is very close to business class standards.

The remaining 285 seats comprising Economy class come with Transaero's standard service excellence and will be available at very reasonable and competitive prices.

Together with the MoscowNew York flights Transaero Airlines announces the launch of the first ever scheduled flights from Moscow to Miami on October 30, 2010. Initially flights UN999 and UN888 will be operated according to following timetable:

UN999 - Departure from Domodedovo International Airport in Moscow on Wednesdays at 10:40 am and arrival at Miami International Airport at 2:50 pm. Return flight UN888 will depart from Miami at 4:20 pm and arrive in Moscow at 11:10 am the following day. All departure and arrival times local.

Flights to Miami will be operated with Boeing 777 aircraft with a seating capacity of up to 306 passengers in four class configurations, including Imperial Class for 12 passengers, Business Class for 14 passengers, and two Economy Class sections, including Premium Economy Class with advanced service standards and expanded meal service, and Economy Class. The Economy class sections have a combined seating capacity of 280 passengers.

In yet another historic first, Transaero will be the only airline operating direct nonstop flights between Moscow and Miami.

All new Transaero’s flights will be operated from Russia's largest airport Domodedovo International in Moscow. This is an important feature of the Transaero’s flights to New York and Miami. Based in Domodedovo Transaero offers passengers numerous connecting flights flying within Russia and to destinations in the CIS and abroad.
