OREANDA-NEWS. July 22, 2010. CenterTelecom OJSC reports that it has been providing telecommunications services in the course of the Seliger Youth Forum held in Tver region. Thousands of young people took part in the forum in order to attract investors in their projects, to communicate with like minded persons and to find new friends. Among this year's forum participants were over 2,000 young leaders from various countries such as Spain, France, Afghanistan, Czech Republic. 

Dmitry Medvedev, Russia's President, visited the Forum. He was discussing a future of innovation economics with students from 92 countries. All participants of the discussion agreed that high technologies, in particular, information and telecommunications technologies became a locomotive of the social and economic development of many countries in the world. They think that only joint efforts of authorities, businessmen and society can allow Russia to become one of the leaders of global information space. The Seliger Forum's organizers are sure that in future it will be an event attracting young people contributing to development of Russia's innovation economics.

CenterTelecom being the official provider of the Forum provided high quality telecommunications including Internet access to all participants of the event.
