OREANDA-NEWS. August 02, 2010. 24 transactions were concluded at the State Commodity and raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

The transactions in the foreign currency for the most part were concluded for petrochemicals. The businessmen from the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates bought gasoline, from Afghanistan – aviation kerosene, from Iran and Russia – base oil and from Kazakhstan – propylene. All products are produced at the Turkmenbashi oil refineries. Also, the transactions were concluded for ginned cotton, cocoons, gray cloth and wadding, the buyer-countries: Russia, China, Turkey, UAE, the United Kingdom and Singapore. The transactions in the foreign currency totalled over USD 41.874 million.

The businessmen from the United States, Iran, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, India, Kazakhstan and Turkey bought gray cloth, terry cloth, raw silk, goat hair and washed karakul wool for deposit manats. The transactions concluded in deposit manats totalled over 3.158 million manats.
