OREANDA-NEWS. August 26, 2010. “Tegeran will place a priority on Russia when choosing a partner for implementation of new nuclear power projects in the republic,” Iranian ambassador in Moscow Mahmoud Reza Sajjadi said.

“Taking in consideration Russian experience in the NPP construction in Busher, Iran will place a priority on Russia in the sphere of cooperation in the nuclear power field”, the ambassador said as quoted on Thursday by “Press TV” Iranian State TV Channel.

Sajjadi M.R. announced to the Iranian mass media that commissioning of Busher NPP would dispel the suspicions that “Russia had used Busher nuclear power plant as a political map.”

The ambassador stressed that Busher NPP commissioning would open a new page of relations between the two countries. The physical startup of Busher NPP is to be held on August 21. Previously Tegeran declared that it was planning to construct 20 more NPPs.
