OREANDA-NEWS. August 30, 2010.  In September 2010, retail prices for Lada cars are to rise by an average 2%, media reported with reference to AvtoVAZ vice-president for sales and marketing, Artem Fedosov. However, although recommended retail prices will be increased, they should still remain below the market level, Fedosov said.

We recall that on May 15, AvtoVAZ upgraded sales prices by an average 2-3%. The decision to raise the prices was related primarily to an appreciation of spare parts and materials. More specifically, prices for Lada Kalina and Lada Priora were increased by 0.68% and 1.66%, respectively.

Lada Samara and Lada 2105/07 became 3% more expensive. Prices for Lada Kalina and Priora with a standard package of options were left at the same level, as were prices supplied to dealers within the cash-for-clunkers program.
