OREANDA-NEWS. August 31, 2010. KazBuild, the major construction exhibition in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, traditionally takes place in Almaty in the second week of September, this year 7-10 September.

The organisers report stable qualitative and quantitative growth for the exhibition. The big news of KazBuild 2010 reinforces these achievements: the merging of the two well-known expo events Heat&Vent Plus and Aqua-Therm Almaty; the participation in the exhibition of six countries with national stands; and the planned “Goods, Brands, Technologies” competition of innovations in the construction industry, and GreenTerra International Landscape and Redevelopment Festival.

According to the organisers, Iteca, the exhibition will feature over 360 companies from 24 countries, including: Belarus, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, India, Iran, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Finland, France, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Estonia and South Korea.

The main news of KazBuild 2010 is the co-location of two well-known and important expo-events in the HVAC industry: Heat&Vent Plus 2010 and Aqua-Therm Almaty 2010. The appearance of the new brand in Iteca’s portfolio is a result of the recent acquisition by the company’s UK partner, ITE Group Plc, of the Italian company Fin-mark Srl., which organises the Aqua-Therm exhibition. To date, about 120 HVAC sector companies from 16 countries have confirmed their participation in Heat&Vent Plus 2010 and Aqua-Therm Almaty 2010. The property and investment sector of the KazBuild exhibition, KazRealty, will also be held on 7-10 September in Almaty. It will present overseas property.

The participation of six national groups in the exhibition is proof of the keen interest of the international business community in the Kazakhstani market, and of the authority of the exhibition itself. Visitors will be able to see the national stands of Germany, Iran, Italy, Finland, France and South Korea. After a short absence, the Italian Association of Bricklayers, Assomarmomachine, has returned to the exhibition.

KazBuild, which was launched in 1994, has become an important and rapidly growing exhibition, which is one of the major specialised events in the CIS. Every year, thousands of specialists come to Almaty to take part in, or visit, the exhibition.

The events are organised by the Kazakhstani exhibition company Iteca, with international partners from the UK, Germany, Turkey, China and Italy. Official support is provided by the Agency for Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Almaty City Administration; Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kazakhstan; and Trade Representation of the Russian Federation to Kazakhstan.
