OREANDA-NEWS. September 1, 2010. NMDC (National Minerals Development Corporation, India) awarded a contract for supply of two fine crushers KMD-2200Gr2-D to Uralmashplant.

The crushers KMD-2200Gr2-D (with crushing head base of 2200 mm in diameter, crushing cavity of Gr2 type, and remote control) are intended for the existing iron-ore project "Danimalai". Their shipment is scheduled for the 1st quarter of 2011.

The leading world manufacturers of crushing equipment Metso Minerals, Sandvik Rock Processing and several Indian companies took part in the bid together with Uralmashplant.

The award of the contract to Uralmashplant was due to its previous successful cooperation with NMDC. In the past, Uralmashplant supplied open-mine excavators EKG-4.6, EKG-5A, crushers KKD-1500/180 to this Indian company. The equipment of Uralmashplant proved its high efficiency and reliability in the severe climatic conditions of iron-ore processing.
