OREANDA-NEWS. September 03, 2010. Delegation of the South Korean company "Hyundai Steel" visited Nakhodka. Foreign guests were welcomed by the first deputy Head of Nakhodka city district Boris GLADKIH at the City Hall.

Foreign delegation included representatives of the South Korean company "Hyundai Steel" and managers of the company "Harim Inc". It was headed by the vice-president of the company "Hyundai Steel". This company is the largest steel mill enterprise in South Korea. It supplies machinery construction and electronics enterprises of "Hyundai" corporation with metal items of high quality. Nakhodka is of reasonable interest for Korean businessmen. The matter is that coal from Siberia and the Far East, which is an integral part of metallurgical production, is delivered to the ports of South Korea via Nakhodka.

In course of negotiations Boris GLADKIH told guests all the details about technology of coal handling at Nakhodka ports, tendency of growth of cargo turnover and favorable trends for the development  of port and logistic business. South Korean guests and local authorities exchanged opinions about possibilities of investment to the economy of Nakhodka city district.
