OREANDA-NEWS. September 09, 2010. The Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Borys Kolesnykov said that the reconstruction of the National sports complex "Olympiyskyi" is included in the schedule agreed with UEFA. He said this today at a briefing after the workshop with the NSK "Olympiyskyi" management and representatives of subcontractors’ organizations that carry out construction work at the stadium.

"Today we sum up the summer building campaign, and we can state the fact that the main object of our country - the Olympiyskyi Stadium all the terms are renewed according to the schedule promised to UEFA" - Boris Kolesnykov said.

The Vice Prime Minister thanked all the companies involved in the stadium reconstruction and congratulated all of them with the fact that all works at the site are in the previously planned schedule: "It is important that today all our plans and hopes for the summer 2010 are in fact true.

Meanwhile Boris Kolesnykov said that the renewed NSK "Olympiyskyi" will be opened in June 2011 and from September 2011 the stadium will be ready to play football. He added that the opening of the stadium would be accompanied by a huge show, on which the best Ukrainian producers are currently working.

Besides that, according to the Vice Prime Minister, especially for NSK "Olympiyskyi" AN Italian company has designed the seats: "There is no repeat, and nowhere in the world today such seats are installed". Boris Kolesnykov said that these seats fully comply with UEFA requirements and the basic safety regulations, would be made in yellow and blue: "Some sectors will be made in blue, some in yellow, all colours will be in colours of the national flag."

The Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine also said that currently there are no serious problems with the construction of Euro 2012 sites. "There are no problems today ... Our problem is to make operate in November-December 2011 all Euro objects. We will have six months to enable the practical mode of their use" - Boris Kolesnykov said.

The Vice Prime Minister noted that the main warning was caused by the reconstruction of NSK "Olympiyskyi" and stadium building in Lviv. Boris Kolesnykov added that the Lions will visit in October to check the status of preparation of the local stadium. "At the end of October in Lviv will report the situation and make statement about that all the gaps on the Lviv most critical facility are eliminated" – the Vice Prime Minister summed up.
