OREANDA-NEWS. September 09, 2010. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) initiated a case against the Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation for the signs of violating Part 1 Article 15 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

FAS Russia suspects that the Fund has violated the antimonopoly law by unreasonably preventing activities of domestic producers of blind-aid flash-players for sound-recorded books. The Technical Assignment Guidelines, drafted to select suppliers of blind-aid flash-players and included in the auction documentation for state procurement of supplies of rehabilitation equipment, contain requirements for the goods or economic entities that are not provided for by the law of the Russian Federation.
